HTC has been steadily pumping out awesome for a long time now and the latest from the company is no different. Recently the company has announced and launched the likes of the Windows Phone 8X, the super slim over sized Droid DNA and new variations of the One series devices with the One X+ and the One VX. Unfortunately for the One VX, the announcement was seemingly the end of the line. The super powerful mid range device was stalled on its way to store shelves. After its October announcement, it was slated for a November launch. While November came and went, the One VX was still not available.

As of December 7th, the HTC One VX is finally ready and available at a sweet price point. The One VX is essentially the true mid-range device for the One series devices. A good way to explain it is something like the One S and the One V spawn a child with more of the One V genes. Slightly under spec’d than the One S the new One VX should prove to be a solid performer. The One VX was made official last week and is priced at $50 bucks on a new contract. So what can you expect from HTC’s low end? Well, a lot actually. The new One VX starts with the likes of Android version 4.0 and is skinned to the brim with the legendary HTC Sense 4+ user interface. End users will get their complete control over the operating system with a 4.5 inch S-LCD 2 touch screen that clocks a 540×960 pixel resolution at 245 pixels per inch. Internally Android will get its go from the likes of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus system chip that sports dual cores and clocks in a 1.5 GHz processing speed. Backing up some of the processing you can find an Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB of Ram, 8GB of internal storage and expandable microSDHC memory. Around back of the One VX you can find a 5 mega pixel camera with an LED flash, an F2.2 aperture and all kinds of camera tricks including full 1080p HD video recording. Up front a .3 or VGA quality camera is ready for all yourself portraits. Additional connectivity is brought to you by GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, microUSB 2.0 and NFC.

The HTC One VX is available now and is priced at $50 bucks anyone interested? A dual core, Android 4.0 handset for fifty bucks! Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think of the new One VX and remember the best HTC accessories are here in full!
